Notice on management arrangement of International Students during Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day Holiday

All international students:

According to the school notice, the  National Day holiday  and Mid-Autumn Festival will run from October 1st to October 8th. To ensure all students have a safe holiday, the following notice is hereby issued regarding the safety education and management for international students：

I. Departure and return arrangements

1. International students who need to leave Yichang City,  during the vacation should fill in the destination statistics table as required. Students who leave campus during the holiday need to complete their registration before September 25th. During the holiday, they need to report their movements and physical condition to the teacher through QQ, WeChat, or phone calls. A list of students who are eligible for leave will be released on September 26th and students who leave the campus without having their names on the list will be considered as leaving without permission.

2. Strictly follow the deadline to return to campus. All students who leave campus during the vacation must strictly adhere to the reported return date. If there are special reasons that require a delay in returning to campus, please contact the teachers at the College of Internaional Communications in advance. Otherwise, it will be considered as leaving the school without authorization.

II. Accommodation Safety management

3. Arrange your daily life and time well during holiday and develop healthy living habits and keep physical and mental health. If you are confronted with any difficulties or confusions in academic, social or mental aspects, please consult your college teacher or supervisor for help. And please make sure the food for your three meals every day is clean and fresh.

4. Obey all the regulations of apartment. Please return back to your dorm before 11:00 PM. Students who do not live in the dorm are not allowed to enter unless they finish registration. Boys are forbidden to stay in girls’ dorm, and vise versa. It is forbidden to make noises loudly or play music loudly that may disturb others’ study and rest. To keep a better environment, please do not pile up your daily garbage in the pubic area.

III. Laws and Regulations

5. You cannot organize or participate in any activity in China which is deemed to be inappropriate to the identity as a student. International students cannot attend or hold any mission or religious activities on campus.

6. You shall observe Chinese laws and regulations as well as university rules. You are banned from participating illegal activities, endangering national security of China, public interest and disturbing public order. You are not allowed to engage in alcohol, fights, gambling, drug abuse, dissemination, trafficking in illegal books and audiovisual products and other violations of public security management regulations; are not allowed to participate in illegal pyramid schemes, engage in activity impacting the image of college students.
